I watched a video where Claude made animations in a bunch of different styles, and one of them was a mosaic. I couldn't stop thinking about it: why stop at an animation? Why not turn any photo into a mosaic you can actually build with your hands? So I gave Claude Code that idea, and about a day later I had **Mosaiz**. **What it does** * Drop in any photo → it becomes a mosaic in 3D. Four tile styles: classic grid, running bond, honeycomb, and an "organic" Roman style where the pieces follow the picture. * Renders a cinematic build video: the mosaic grows outward tile by tile while the camera pulls back (that's the video above, made by the app itself). * **3D-print kit:** STL files per colour, every tile has its number engraved on the back, and numbered base plates with a pocket for each tile. * **Real ceramic:** a printable home build kit with a 1:1 laying map, cutting "stickers" you glue onto blank tiles and nip along the lines, a shopping list per colour, and illustrated steps.…
