INKWAVE is a browser-based 4v4 turf-war shooter built with help from Opus 5.5. Paint the arena, dive into your team’s ink, climb painted walls, and fight for territory. Online rooms support up to 8 players, with bots filling empty slots. It runs on Three.js, with custom shaders that make ink spread, drip down walls, shine when fresh, and dry over time. Characters, weapons, environments, sound effects, and music are generated procedurally in code. Even the characters use a 60-bone rig with code-driven animation. To be clear: this wasn’t one-shotted. A lot of iteration and manual work went into getting everything into a playable state. The project is now open source under the MIT license, so you can dig into how the ink system, procedural characters, animation, and multiplayer actually work—or build on it yourself.
