I built a TV & movie tracker and its promo video with Claude Code

I built emberslate, an Android TV & movie tracker. I used Claude Code as a coding partner throughout the project, from designing and implementing the NestJS/PostgreSQL backend and Android UI to writing database queries, integrating APIs, debugging production issues, and iterating on features from user feedback. A large part of the codebase was written and changed through Claude Code. For this showcase, I also used Claude Code to build a 50-second promo video with Remotion, including the animations, timing and audio. emberslate lets you track shows and movies, manage watchlists, follow episodes and release dates, and discover what to watch.
