Hello! I've made a thing. It makes changing and managing EQ profiles on the CrinEar Protocol Micro simple and fast. You keep a library of EQ profiles on your phone, plug in the Micro, pick a profile and hold to send it. The EQ stays on the dongle, so after that you can unplug it and use it with anything. You can also tune on the go: drag the bands on the graph, fine-tune with sliders, or paste an AutoEQ profile from the clipboard. It only works on Android for now. It's open source (Apache 2.0), and you'll have to sideload the APK. No internet or account needed, no analytics, no ads, no telemetry, no data retention. I haven't looked into whether an iPhone port is possible. I made the app for myself, which is why there's no iPhone release, but if there's enough interest I might port it. It doesn't support the Protocol Max - I don't own one, so I couldn't test it. For those who care about the process: the app was vibe coded with Claude Opus 5.5, then audited, debugged and cleaned up…
